During the clean-slate admin VM rehearsal, lab service --install --smoke for hero_cockpit_server reported three smoke checks passing and one failing, but the operator output did not make the failing check actionable. Please make the smoke output identify the failed check and the command or assertion that failed so operators can triage fresh VM installs without digging through raw logs.
