Situation

  • we want to update networkD in ZOS
  • new version of ZOS 3.x which supports an updated networkD, this needs to become the default

Requirements

  • Only 1 mac address per Node.
  • When creating the image for booting we can specify if a webgw is run on the public ip address
  • When node boots and pub ip address was requested, and no pub ip was found then this is an error
  • 1 Mycelium Network per Node, each VM can have an address in it if requested (is like a pub ip address but then in Mycelium space)

questions

  • will the wireguard still work in this version, or we rely on Mycelium?
