Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
This is being requested by INCA team for an investor deck. Something like the attached screenshot.
@Amanda Could you start on something today and @mik-tf / @scott can pick it up?
Is there a project we would recommend looking at instead of Nosana?
This is a relatively urgent ask.
Sure @gosam.
@mik-tf @scott I have started on things we could compare with if you think we need to add something please do.
@mik-tf @scott We need your input here please.
Made some table with info we have. @scott could you double check?
From what I found they all run on bare metal, so I did not include this.
This should work for now.
I added some notes and corrections in the sheet.
That's true, but I'm not aware of any other network that prioritizes bare metal like we do. What it means in practice is that these other networks are to greater or lesser extents resellers of capacity from existing clouds.
On the other hand, I heard some discussion at some point around accommodating Zos VMs in a bigger way for v4, so maybe this is not a great point to emphasize.
What we can say though is that our model facilitates the expansion of cloud hardware in a way that the others don't. The other networks essentially require that providers become Linux system admins (and potentially Kubernetes admins on top of that in the case of Akash).
OK thanks @scott – can you help get the comparison chart fully updated as you see it best (e.g. Add Stack OS, remove Helium, ...). I don't know how we integrate this point about bare metal / how we facilitate the expansion of cloud infra differently than others into a chart, but let us know if you have ideas.
Then I can at least pass the comparison to the INCA team and we can use as well for future content.
