We had a call with Omrei today to discuss and organize our collaboration for the OurVerse website and the event we are planning for October. Unfortunately, Sasha couldn't join the call, so we only briefly touched on the branding topic. Sasha has already created the initial branding, logo, and website design for OurVerse and upcoming event (see attached + repo https://git.ourworld.tf/ourworld_web/ourverse_new)
However, feedback suggests that the design could be less "techy" and more playful, and could be improved in terms of color, and the logo (too simple, could be in 3D) + there's no story behind the branding
To move forward, we need to organize a follow-up call that includes Sasha to define what’s needed for the website and branding in more details.
about the logo- im not an illustrator, i dont know how to use adobe illustrator / i dont have the app, so please @omrei1990 if you can come up, but i would suggest the color not change too much for simplicity and memorability/maybe max add 1 more
Sam spent some time working on the logo yesterday and Omrei assigned the task of creating it to his graphic designer
See attached inspiration + intended color palette - Sasha will also change the website color to these colors
I had a call with Sasha, she's waiting for the logo and branding to be ready before modifying the website.
We had several calls this week about the branding of OurVerse and Omrei's graphic designer came back with a few design for the logo.
About the website, I received a feedback from Kristof: it has to be simple, fun and straightforward. It has to show how many people can't meet or collaborate together, and how we're solving that problem, how we're going beyond ZOOM.
We need to have a roadmap showing where it all started, where we are with OurVerse and where it will continue to go in the future.
A lot of back and forth on the branding / logo. Today it should be solved.
See preview of the website : https://www2.ourverse.tf
Logo is attached
OMO: The color palette is bland, and still lacks that playful touch.
